A Character Eye Opener

So I guess after a couple days some of the things in a lesson really sink in. Well my boyfriend and I were at the book store because I am a nut over new art books. Well I was looking through the books and noticing that all the good books had very similar tips from what we learned in class in 2D animation just up a notch. We learned about how head shape, eye positioning, and other features can tell a lot about a character before the move or utter a word. It's ironic how the books relate to exactly what I'm studying in. These books go into a lot of depth even showing how the shape of an eye on a human character (non cartoony, anime-like I guess the best to describe it) can affect their personality. One of the books is about a Japanese graph system that is buit for the soul purpose of creating new ideas to make original characters that you wouldn;t have other wise been able to think of. I love the new books and can't wait to get started on them :D.
